Lists

If you know me, you know I'm a list person.  Rather, I'M A LIST PERSON.  And over the past couple of weeks (or so), I've made several lists in preparation for this trip.

Since we'll be gone for such a long time, I made a list: pay bills, stop mail, stop paper, clean out fridge, empty all trash (and by that I mean take it to the dump instead of leaving it in our garage trash bins...ewwwww stinky after a month), set lights/timers, unplug unnecessaries...it goes on.  I made a list: 3 jeans, 3 skirts, 3 leggins, 12 bras/underwear etc...you get the drift.  I made a list: beer halls, tap houses, eateries, breweries.  I made a list: TripAdvisor reccos for tours and sights.  I made a list: locate all lists.

Just yesterday, I came upon a list I'd made back when we were booking the trip.  Sure enough, there were two things that I needed to do: bring extra shopping bag (a roll-up reusable nylon bag I love), and bring Euros left over from Belgium trip.  Done and done.

I love lists for a couple of reasons: I'm easily distracted by shiny objects and quickly forget what I was just thinking about, and I love crossing shit off.

Anyway, while I'm sure there's an odd list or two I've made but have yet to find, I'm down to one more thing to do on my master list - DON'T FORGET YOUR PASSPORT!!
